Brian Eller Graphics is the result of a lifelong blend of creativity, technology, and curiosity.
From an early age, I began exploring what I would later come to know as the world of creative services.
My father introduced me to photography, basically as soon as I was old enough to hold a camera, and that early influence naturally paired up with a passion for writing, drawing, and design. Throughout school, I worked on the newspaper and yearbook staffs, where I wrote articles, took photographs, and handled layout—experiences that quietly laid the foundation for my future career.
Along the way, I explored technical drawing and printing, gaining hands-on experience with professional tools and production processes. At the time, these skills seemed unrelated, but they would later come together in meaningful ways.
In 1981, another pivotal influence entered my life: the computer.
I began learning BASIC programming, later dabbling in PASCAL and C, and eventually moving deeper into hardware, networking, and systems administration. By the mid-1990s, I had earned multiple technical certifications, including Novell CNA and CNE, A+ Service Technician, and several vendor-specific credentials.
Equally important was my early connection to the online world. In the early 1980s, I logged on to CompuServe using a borrowed 300-baud modem and quickly became fascinated with digital communication. I was hooked. I went on to run my own Bulletin Board System (BBS) and, by the early 1990s, began creating downloadable photo graphics and doing freelance design work. When I joined the Internet in 1995, web design felt like a natural evolution—my programming background made HTML intuitive, and soon I was designing websites, logos, and print materials alongside my IT consulting work.
In 2009, I made a decisive shift. While my technical career had been successful, my true passion was creative work. I committed fully to graphic design and returned to school to refine my skills and formalize my education. In 2013, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communications with a concentration in Web Design and Development, and a Certificate in Multimedia. During this time, I also earned multiple ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation for my design work.
All of these experiences—creative, technical, and professional—came together with the formation of Brian Eller Graphics, LLC in February 2015.
Today, Brian Eller Graphics delivers thoughtful, well-crafted design solutions grounded in decades of hands-on experience. My work reflects not just technical skill or visual polish, but a deep understanding of how design, technology, and communication work together to tell a compelling story.
This is my story. I’d love to help you tell yours.
